Clint Carney

Clint Carney is a Los Angeles-based musician, visual artist, writer, actor and filmmaker. He first gained recognition in 2004 with the debut of his electro-industrial music project, System Syn. Since then, System Syn has released ten full-length albums, numerous singles, and performed internationally, cultivating a dedicated global fanbase.

As a fine artist, Clint is known for his bold, emotionally charged oil paintings, often exploring dark and surreal themes. His work has appeared in major films and TV shows, as well as in galleries, magazine covers, fashion lines, album artwork, and more.

Clint has created artwork and props for major films by directors including J.J. Abrams (Star Trek Into Darkness), David Fincher (Gone Girl), Oliver Stone (Savages), Wes Craven (Scream 4), and Cameron Crowe (We Bought a Zoo), among others.

In recent years, Clint has expanded into filmmaking, writing, producing, starring in, and co-directing the award-winning surreal horror feature Dry Blood. The film earned over 30 awards during its festival run and was later distributed by Dread, the horror division of Epic Pictures. In addition to Dry Blood, Clint has appeared in a variety of film roles, further showcasing his range as a performer.

Clint documents much of his creative process on his YouTube channel, Clint Carney Creates, which has grown to over 20,000 subscribers. The channel offers behind-the-scenes looks at his artwork, music, prop-building, and filmmaking, providing insight and inspiration for fellow creatives.
